He qualified from Bart's and the London School of Medicine in 2005 and following service in the British Army entered specialist gastroenterology training in North West London. He was awarded a research doctorate for thesis on bile acid homeostasis syndromes in 2017 and became a consultant in 2018
He also an accredited British Bowel Cancer Screening Programme colonoscopist and joint clinical lead for inflammatory bowel disease at West Middlesex University
Hospital. He is currently the divisional lead for digital transformation.
