About Mr Reuben Benjamin
Mr Reuben Benjamin is a haematologist with a particular interest in chimeric antigen receptor T cells (CAR T) for treating haematological malignancies. They lead a Cellular Immunotherapy Group that focuses on developing and optimising allogeneic 'off the shelf' CAR T cells. In addition, the group is also engaged in research to understand the resistance mechanisms of blood cancers to CAR T cell therapy. Mr Benjamin's clinical interest lies in multiple myeloma. Their team is currently investigating the pathogenesis of extramedullary myeloma and developing advanced flow cytometry methods for monitoring multiple myeloma.
