Dr Rebecca Slinn is a Consultant Psychiatrist with over 20 years of experience. She has particular interests in the presentation of mental health problems in older adults, including dementia and memory problems. Dr Slinn has worked in the NHS for over 20 years and has also had a successful private practice for the past 10 years.
She completed her degree in Medicine in London, and subsequently trained in a variety of disciplines including general practice. She later specialised in psychiatry and completed her training in the South West of England, where she gained experience in both general adult psychiatry and old age psychiatry. Dr Slinn is also a member of the renowned Royal College of Psychiatrists (MRCPsych).
Dr Slinn has additional interests in employee wellbeing and occupational health. She has a medico-legal practice and can provide expert opinions for court cases and tribunal services.
Her expertise include assessment, diagnosis and treatment of the following:
Mood disorders including depression and bipolar disorder
Anxiety disorders including, panic disorder, generalised anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder, phobias,
