About Dr Ravindhi Murphy
Dr Ravindhi Murphy is a Consultant Medical Oncologist specialising in colorectal cancers, with expertise in the use of chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and targeted therapies. She holds a substantive consultant post in colorectal oncology at Chelsea and Westminster NHS Foundation Trust and also serves as a medical adviser at the Cancer Research UK Centre for Drug Development. Dr Murphy completed her primary medical degree at the University of Cambridge in 2008 before undertaking specialist training in medical oncology at several leading London hospitals, including The Royal Marsden, Charing Cross, and Hammersmith. She has combined her clinical practice with academic research, holding fellowships from the National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) and Cancer Research UK. In 2017, she was awarded a Wellcome Trust Drug Discovery Fellowship and completed a PhD in Cancer Therapeutics at the Institute of Cancer Research, London, focusing on the development of new cancer drugs. She continues to contribute actively to clinical research, publishing in peer-reviewed journals and presenting at national and international oncology conferences. Dr Murphy has a particular interest in advancing personalised cancer treatment and precision oncology, ensuring patients benefit from the latest developments in cancer research and clinical care.
