About
He graduated with an MBBS from Liaquat Medical College, Pakistan, in 1986 and completed his postgraduate training, gaining Fellowship of the College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan in 1994. He later obtained his FRCS from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2000.
Mr Shaikh began his NHS career in 1995 at King Edward VII Hospital in Windsor and has since held senior roles across several NHS trusts, including Queen’s Medical Centre in Nottingham, Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust, and Doncaster and Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals.
His areas of expertise include medical retina, oculoplastics and general ophthalmology. Mr Shaikh is dedicated to improving patient outcomes through compassionate care, thorough assessment and evidence-based treatment tailored to each individual’s needs.
