Dr Berg successfully completed their undergraduate medical training at Leeds Medical School, graduating in 2001. During this time, they also completed a BSc in genetics in relation to medicine and later an MSc in psychiatric research. Dr Berg has also notably obtained a certificate of completion of specialist training in general adult psychiatry and is a member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists. They are approved by the Secretary of State under Section 12 as having specialist expertise and experience in the assessment and treatment of mental disorders.
