About Mr Prashant Purohit
Dr Prashant Purohit is a highly experienced Consultant in Gynaecology, Fertility and Reproductive Medicine/Surgery based at Kings College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, Denmark Hill and Kings Fertility, London. He has a medical degree and postgraduate training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology with distinction from Mumbai. He completed his four-year clinical research fellowship in Reproductive Medicine and Surgery at King College Hospital and obtained his Membership of Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in 2011. He has also completed his Speciality Training from Glasgow deanery UK in 2019. Dr Purohit specialises in managing infertile couples, fertility preservation, fibroids, endometriosis, miscarriage, polycystic ovaries, menopause, menstrual bleeding disorders, and pelvic pain. His special interests include minimally invasive surgery like (key-hole) laparoscopic/ hysteroscopic surgery, Robotic surgery, Gynaecological and early pregnancy ultrasound, and reproductive medicine. Dr Purohit is accredited by the British Fertility Society for the management of subfertility and assisted conception (IVF and IUI). He also holds advanced training and accreditation from the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology for Laparoscopy/Hysteroscopy surgery, Menopause, and Subfertility-Assisted Conception. Apart from his clinical work, Dr Purohit is actively involved in training and supervision of students from King's College London, speciality trainees from London/Kent deanery as well as international universities. He has published widely in the field of reproductive medicine and gynaecology. Dr Purohit offers various procedures and services, including One Stop Gynaecology, Reproductive Medicine, Fertility, HyCoSy Scan, Early Pregnancy, Advanced Gynaecological Ultrasound scans, and Laparoscopic & Hysteroscopic (Key-Hole) Surgery. He provides personalised care to each patient and aims to offer the best possible treatment for their individual needs. He is registered with most leading Insurance companies.
