About Paul McMullan
Paul McMullan is the Owner and Specialist Podiatrist at Lower Limb. He graduated with Honours in Podiatric Medicine from the University of Ulster in 2011. Paul has extensive experience in biomechanics and minor surgery, having worked both within the NHS and in various private clinics prior to establishing Lower Limb. He is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Podiatric Sports Medicine at Queen Mary University, London, and has completed MSc modules in biomechanics, pharmacology, sports medicine, and anatomy dissection. Paul is skilled in sports podiatry and biomechanics, with a particular focus on treating lower limb injuries, gait analysis, and using 3D scan technology for custom orthotic manufacturing. He has been involved in the successful use of EMS Shockwave Therapy for treating chronic conditions such as achilles tendonitis, plantar fasciitis, and knee pain. Paul holds HCPC registration and is a Bupa provider. He is also qualified in Prescription Only Medicines, enabling him to perform nail surgery and verruca procedures under local anaesthetic. His clinic is well-supported by a network of specialised physiotherapists and orthopaedic surgeons for comprehensive patient care.
