Dr. med. Omar El-Shohoumi wurde 1962 in Wien geboren. Nach dem Abschluss des Gymnasiums studierte er Medizin an der Universität Wien, wo er 1988 promovierte. Nach seiner Ausbildung zum praktischen Arzt und Notarzt absolvierte Dr. med. El-Shohoumi seine Facharztausbildung im Krankenhaus Wiener Neustadt in der Orthopädischen Abteilung bei Professor Bösch.
Professor Bösch war für Dr. med. El-Shohoumi nicht nur in fachlicher Hinsicht, sondern auch im Umgang mit Patienten ein großes Vorbild. 1998 schloss er seine Ausbildung ab und war bis Ende 2001 als Oberarzt in der Abteilung tätig. Dr. med. El-Shohoumi verfügt über das Diplom für Manuelle Medizin.
Dr. med. Omar El-Shohoumi ist Facharzt für Orthopädie und Orthopädische Chirurgie.
