Before joining Mediclinic Dubai Mall, she worked in King's College Hospital London in Dubai,  and at King Abdulaziz Hospital in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, as a Consultant Pulmonologist for 5 years.

In addition to her medical career, Dr Vartzioti has a personal interest in athletics, being a marathoner and trail runner herself.
