About Dr Novraj Dhanjal
Dr. Dhanjal is an experienced consultant neurologist who currently works at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, where he sees patients with acute and general neurological conditions. He runs busy NHS clinics in general neurology, complex headache and cognitive disorders. He studied medicine at Guy's, King's, and St. Thomas' School of Medicine in London, where he also completed an intercalated BSc in pharmacology. After being appointed to the Hammersmith Hospital medical rotation, Dr. Dhanjal went on to complete his postgraduate training in general medicine, including posts at both the Royal Brompton and Royal Free hospitals. He was awarded a Royal College of Physicians and Dunhill Medical Trust Clinical Training Fellowship for his PhD studies in cognitive neurology. Based on this success, he was subsequently awarded a clinical research training fellowship from the Medical Research Council (UK). He compled his PhD studies at Imperial College London in 2011. Dr. Dhanjal has gone on to train extensively in neurology, working across various hospitals such as Charing Cross, St. Mary's, Chelsea, and Westminster, before becoming a senior registrar at The National Hospital for Neurology & Neurosurgery. He took up a NHS Consultant position in 2015.
