Dr Nina Brunker
General Practice (GP)
About
Dr Brunker qualified from Warwick Medical School in 2009. Prior to this, she earned a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Biochemistry and Cell Biology in 2005. Following her junior doctor training at St Thomas’ Hospital London, Dr Brunker completed her General Practice specialisation in 2016 and works as a General Practitioner in both the NHS as well as private practice at the Westminster Women’s Clinic.
Dr Brunker is passionate about Women’s Health and holds an advanced certificate in Menopause Care from The British Menopause Society. In the last year, she has set up a GP-led Women’s Health Hub on the NHS for the Brompton Primary Care Network, which addresses women’s health needs on an individualised basis in a community setting.
In 2022, Dr Brunker additionally achieved full certification with the Institute for Functional Medicine in the USA, widely accepted as the global leader in functional medicine training. This has given her the extra tools and knowledge needed to develop a truly holistic approach to Women’s Health, which considers a woman’s whole biology, as well as her environment and lifestyle choices.
Dr Brunker is a member of the Royal College of General Practitioners and the College of Medicine and Integrated Health. She is also a certified Nutrigenomics practitioner with Lifecode Gx and has a Level 3 coaching qualification from The Institute for Leadership and Management.
Dr Brunker undergoes an annual appraisal with the NHS and was last revalidated in December 2021 (next due in December 2026). She is a member of the Medical Defence Union and registered with the General Medical Council.
She is passionate about health and wellbeing, which is reflected in her balanced and active life outside of her clinical practice with her husband and two children in southwest London.
“Evidence-based care tailored to each patient — taking the time to explain options and shared decisions.”
