Mr Furness pursued his medical education at Imperial College London, where he also earned a degree in Healthcare Management. His journey in orthopaedics continued in the UK, where he completed his orthopaedic training and achieved the status of Consultant in 2017. Mr Furness holds fellowships with both the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and the Royal College of Surgeons of England. He is an engaged member of professional societies such as the British Elbow & Shoulder Society and the Victorian Shoulder & Elbow Society.
With a background in the National Health Service (NHS), Mr Furness is a strong advocate for the public healthcare system and is dedicated to providing exceptional care to all those in need. He offers consultations and performs surgeries at Sandringham, Frankston, and Bendigo Public Hospitals. Additionally, he conducts regular clinics for public patients at his private offices in Sandringham and Frankston.
