Dr Nermeen Amer is an experienced specialist ophthalmologist based at GMC Clinics and Al Moosa Day Surgery Center. She has 17 years of post-Masters experience and 10 years of post-Doctorate experience.
Her special interests are in medical retina, uveitis, and neuro-ophthalmology.
She has vast experience in treating a range of eye disorders and has worked in a number of prestigious hospitals in the UAE, Kuwait, and Egypt. She is also appointed as a lecturer of ophthalmology in the Faculty of Medicine.
Dr Amer gained her medical qualifications from Cairo University in 1996. She holds a Master's degree in ophthalmology from Cairo University (2001) and an MD in ophthalmology from Cairo University (2009).

Egyptian ophthalmological society
Egyptian vitreoretinal society
Dr Amer is from Egypt and is fluent in both English and Arabic.
