Neil Davey
Physiotherapy
About
Everything changed for Neil in 2009 when, as the owner of Exeter Physio, he was introduced to an alternative approach that resonated with his beliefs and frustrations. This new approach, backed by science and research, revolutionised his practice and led to dramatically improved patient outcomes. Neil witnessed patients recovering quickly with just one or two sessions and maintaining their wellness independently.
Following this, Neil abandoned the short-term, dependency-creating treatments in favour of a research-based, patient-focused method known as cognitive functional therapy (CFT). This approach addressed the true drivers of symptoms and provided long-lasting improvement, reducing the need for ongoing treatment and lowering costs.
Since then, Neil has dedicated himself to developing skills that benefit his patients. Alongside his private practice work, Neil has also collaborated with high-level sports teams, including the European PGA Golf tour for over five years and the Exeter Chiefs RFC for over five years. Through his commitment to evidence-based care and patient-focused solutions, Neil continues to make a meaningful impact in the field of physiotherapy.
“Evidence-based care tailored to each patient — taking the time to explain options and shared decisions.”
