Dr Neha Thakerar
Dentistry
About
Dr Thakerar completed her Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) degree at Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry in 2017 followed by her foundation training in the North Central London Deanery. In 2018, she became a Member of the Faculty of Dental Surgery of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow. She has since undergone additional training in hospitals across the UK, which include Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children, and Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge.
Dr Thakerar's dedication to serving underserved populations led her to the Community Dental Service, where she provided essential dental care to individuals in deprived areas of Wales who otherwise could not access treatment in general practice.
She has acquired extensive experience in performing oral surgeries and treating very anxious and medically complex patients. In her nature, Dr Thakerar is an approachable clinican that makes patients feel comfortable and at ease.
“Evidence-based care tailored to each patient — taking the time to explain options and shared decisions.”
