About Mr Thomas Crompton
Mr Thomas Crompton is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon who has extensive expertise in treating and managing paediatric orthopaedic problems, including: • deformity correction, • Perthes disease, • neuromuscular disorders, • foot and ankle conditions, • hip dysplasia. His private practice is based at The Portland Hospital for Women and Children, The Cromwell Hospital and Spire Gatwick Park. Mr Crompton received his medical training at Barts and The London Medical School before completing basic and specialist registrar orthopaedic training at Guy's and St Thomas' Hospitals. He then gained paediatric orthopaedic fellowships at both The Royal London Hospital and Westmead Children's Hospital in Australia. Following this, he was appointed Consultant at The Royal Alexandra Children's Hospital in Brighton. Mr Crompton prioritises delivering excellent quality care to his patients, and he is an advocate of non-operative treatments. He bases his approach on personalised treatment and starts by building a picture of his patient's condition in order to offer the most appropriate treatments.
