He carries out a range of procedures including various types of knee replacements such as patient-specific instrumentation and computer-guided surgery, anterior cruciate and other ligament reconstructions, patellofemoral stabilisation, meniscal repair, osteotomies, cartilage repair, arthroscopic surgery and PRP injections.

Mr Jain has more than 30 years' experience in the field and takes a holistic, patient-centred approach with an emphasis on evidence-based practice. He ensures to keep updated with the latest developments and innovations and is well-respected for his professional thoroughness and surgical skills. He believes in early mobilisation and rehabilitation for patients following surgery, to restore function with minimal pain.

Mr Jain gained his initial medical qualification in 1986 and went on to complete an MS Ortho and an MCh Orth. He later became a member of the Royal College of Surgeons. He has continued to publish and present his research to an international level, and he has been recognised with Clinical Excellence Awards. In addition, he teaches at both Undergraduate and Post-graduate levels and has been an examiner for MSc Orthopaedic trainees. Mr Jain has previously been the audit lead for the Surgical Directorate as well as the lead for enhanced recovery and enhancing quality in orthopaedics for the South East region. He also served as the South East Regional Clinical Coordinator for the National Joint Registry of England & Wales as well as the Chief Clinical Information Officer for Medway NHS Trust. Mr Jain is one of the few orthopaedic surgeons holding the Membership of the Faculty of Sports & Exercise Medicine.
