About Mr Samuel Molyneux
Mr. Sam Molyneux graduated from the University of Newcastle in 2002. He completed his basic surgical training in the North East of England and moved to Edinburgh for his higher specialist training. At the end of his training he spent a year-long specialist training fellowship in Vancouver, Canada, before returning to Edinburgh in July 2013 to take up a consultant post in Trauma and Orthopaedics at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh. Mr. Molyneux's private practice reflects his NHS work. He has a specialist interest in hand, wrist and upper limb surgery, and runs a weekly hand and wrist clinic at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh. He also has a special interest in sports upper limb injuries, trauma and exercise induced pain. He is the Clinical Lead for Orthopaedics in South East Scotland, co-director of the world-renowned Edinburgh International Trauma Symposium, and Treasurer for ARTOF, the Association for the Rational Treatment of Fractures.
