Mr Ravi Kulkarni is an experienced Consultant Urologist currently working in an NHS post at Ashford and St Peters Hospital and in private practice at the BMI Princess Margaret Hospital and the BMI The Runnymede Hospital. Before beginning his role at Ashford and St Peters, Mr Kulkarni was a Senior Registrar at Charing Cross Hospital in London.
Mr Kulkarni's specialist interest lies in urological stents; he has been the Chair of the International Symposium on Urological Stents for 15 years and has published a book on the subject. He also specialises in general urology, paediatric urology, diagnostic urology and reconstruction. He has over 150 publications and presentations in his field and is a member of the British Association of Urological Surgeons (BAUS), the Endo-Urology Society and the European Association of Urology (EAU).
