About Mr Neil Pennington
Mr Neil Pennington is a Shoulder Specialist who graduated with honours, in 2004 from the University of Leeds and subsequently completed all of his surgical training in Yorkshire. In 2013 he was appointed as the sole Fellow on the highly regarded Coventry Shoulder Fellowship with Steve Drew and Tom Lawrence. This gave him a unique experience of a high volume of operating in the whole spectrum of shoulder surgery. He further enhanced his experience by being awarded the British Elbow & Shoulder Society Mayo Fellowship in 2015; affording him the opportunity to visit and spend time at the Mayo clinic in 2016. He was appointed as a Consultant Shoulder Surgeon in 2015; his NHS practice is based in Huddersfield & Halifax and his private practice is in Leeds, Huddersfield and Elland. He has a special interest in total shoulder arthroplasty and arthroscopic rotator cuff repair and reconstructive surgery. He firmly believes in a patient centred approach, and to tailoring your care towards the goals and outcomes that matter most to you.
