Mr Gupta is a substantive Ophthalmic Consultant treating patients at St Hugh's hosptial Grimsby, Fitz william hospital Peterborough and Boston west hosptial. After his formal Specialist Registrar training in Sheffield he worked at Moorfields Eye Hospital before being appointed as a consultant in 2005. He is the Ophthalmic representative on the Boston Treatment Centre Medical Advisory Committee. His main areas of interest are Cataract and Glaucoma but he also regularly performs oculoplastic and squint procedures. He has performed many routine and challenging Cataract and Glaucoma procedures and a personal audit of cases over the last decade showing that his complication rate is well below the national average.
