About
Dr Shareef qualified in Medicine from NTR University of Health Sciences in 2004, before undertaking postgraduate medical training in Dermatology. He then completed research at the University of Dundee on Photodermatology. This involved the investigation of skin disorders caused by sunlight. Following this, he completed the Yorkshire Dermatology training programme. More impressively, he has completed a fellowship in Laser and Skin Cancer in Leeds. Dr Shareef has worked for many practices in the UK and the Middle East and in 2019 he began working as a Consultant for the Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust and has moved to Clinical Lead Dermatologist.
Apart from his research and clinical work he enjoys teaching medical students and junior doctors. He has also written in several publications, as well as presented both nationally and internationally.
