Mr Louden graduated from the University of Nottingham in 1983 and later obtained a postgraduate MD in reproductive physiology. He became a Member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (MRCOG) in 1990 and was awarded Fellowship (FRCOG) in 2001.
A longstanding member of the British Society for Gynaecological Endoscopy (BSGE), Mr Louden served on its National Council for over a decade and was responsible for developing national clinical guidelines. He also hosted the BSGE's national meeting in Winchester in 2001. In addition, he served on the editorial board of The Obstetrician & Gynaecologist, the Royal College’s postgraduate journal. His work reflects a continued commitment to clinical excellence, education, and the advancement of gynaecological care.
