Mr Paniker gained his primary medical qualifications at Manipal University India, 2000, after which he undertook his post graduate training in Orthopaedics in India before coming to UK to further his Orthopaedic training in Birmingham, Manchester and Wales and eventually his Specialist Orthopaedic Training from Liverpool.
Since being appointed Consultant, Mr Paniker has become clinical lead for Orthopaedics and clinical lead for research in his NHS trust. He is also actively engaged in educating the next generation of doctors, by mentoring junior doctors and masters students. He is part of the council of the BSSH(British Soceity for Surgery of the Hand)and an examiner for the Hand Diploma and teaches on many national courses.
