In 2015, he became a Consultant at Dorset County Hospital in Dorchester. He is interested in the knee and hip surgery with several international publications and presentations. One of his publications is on knee replacement techniques, hip replacement outcomes and complex lower limb trauma. He reviews for the Knee journal. As a Consultant, Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgeon, his specialist interests include knee and hip surgery, with practices that include knee and hip replacements, revision knee replacements, arthroscopic (keyhole) knee surgery, ligament reconstruction, patient-specific knee replacements, partial knee replacements and lower limb trauma. Dr Findlay utilises recent proven technology, surgical techniques and implants. To keep working according to best practices, he attends national conferences and courses, leads clinical governance at Dorset County Hospital and works with the South West Knee Surgeons Group.
