About Mr Graham Smith
Mr. Graham Smith is a Consultant Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon at St George's University Hospital and Kingston Hospital Foundation Trust. He qualified in dentistry form Guys' Dental School in 1991 and in medicine from Bristol University Medical School in 1996. Mr. Smith trained in general surgery and orthopedics and gained the FRCS(Eng) in 1999. He then undertook higher surgical training in oral and maxillofacial surgery and achieved FRCS OMFS in 2002. In 2003, Mr. Smith undertook a fellowship at the Sydney Head and Neck Cancer Institute in Australia where he mastered the management of patients with head and neck malignancies, ablation, and reconstructive techniques. Mr. Smith specializes in dentoalveolar surgery, implantology, salivary gland disease, surgical dermatology, and head, and neck oncology. Mr. Smith is actively involved in teaching and training. He trains Specialist Registrars, junior doctors, and dentists, as well as medical and dental undergraduates. He has also taught surgery in Iraq and Bangladesh. Mr. Smith has a keen interest in research and regularly attends and presents at national and international conferences.
