He treats all aspects of vein issues using the latest and most effective keyhole methods offereing a bespoke treatment plan for each individual patient . David treats all types of varicose veins and complex recurrent varicose veins, spider and thread veins , swollen legs and leg ulcers. He also has a special interest in the treatment and removal of deep vein thrombosis known as a DVT using the latest equipment as well as treating Pelvic congestion and its bespoke treatment. He teaches internationally on venous disease. David is a pioneer of local anaesthetic keyhole vein. David's friendly, very caring and careful approach as well attention to detail results in a bespoke vein treatment for the simplest veins to the most complex vein problem. David's philosophy is that he believes in simplicity and most importantly advising on the best technique and treatment plan to get the best possible long term and cosmetic results. He also has experience in treating varicose vein problems in obese and overweight patients. He also treats veins in unusual areas such as hand and forearm veins. David is able to pioneering laser treatment for varicose veins including radio frequency ablation, Foam sclerotherapy and glue therapy and CariVein treatment. In addition to treating varicose veins, David is amongst the forefront leaders in the UK for the modern management of deep vein thrombosis DVT and treatment of swollen leg. This can be both in the emergency and chronic situation, which may require removal of the deep vein clot, stenting, or the use of clot dissolving drugs.
