Chinedu graduated in 1980 and undertook specialist training, earning the FRSCI in 1990. Following research in the application of Artificial Neural Networks in Breast Cancer Prognosis, he was awarded an MSc degree by the University of Kent in 2004. He is on the General Medical Council specialist register. He is a Consultant at the East Kent Hospitals University NHS Trust.
Chinedu has vast experience in the management of breast cancer and benign breast disease, and has several publications and presentations at meetings. He is interested in the use of artificial intelligence to improve patient pathways in breast cancer care
He has a special interest in open tension-free mesh hernia repairs.
Outside of medicine, he is interested in digital marketing, business, and personal finance. He is a published author of a personal finance book.
