Mr. Ayo Oshowo is a very experienced general surgeon based in London across a number of clinic locations. He undertook his basic surgical training at the University Hospital of Wales in Cardiff, before completing higher surgical training in London. He is a specialist registrant with the GMC and has sub-specialist interests in colorectal surgery and laparoscopic surgery. In 2002, he was awarded a Travel Fellowship from the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Ohio, USA, which enabled him to undergo further sub-specialty training in colorectal diseases.
He obtained a Master of Surgery degree from the University of London by thesis in 2000 and has since maintained an active interest in both research and teaching, publishing many papers as well as giving international presentations and guest lectures. He also dedicates time to outreach training programmes training new doctors overseas.
