About
in 2015. He was trained in Dublin in adult cardiothoracic surgrey and heart
lung transplantation with special intrest in mechanical circulatory support.
Fellowship European Board of Thoracic & Cardiovascular Surgeons (FECTS) was
done in 2014. Higher surgical training in Cardiothoracic surgrey FRCS(C-Th) in
2012 and Basic surgical training MRCS in 2003 was completed by Royal College of
Surgeons in Ireland. Mr Shah qualified medicine form Punjab university of Pakistan.
In adult cardic surgrey he is the clinical lead for
Mechanical Circulatory Support program and complex mitral valve repair surgery.
He has established the succesful mitral valve repair program in Freeman, where
succesful mitral repair has increased > 90% of patients compared to
historical 50-60%. He has also started minimally invasive mitral valve surgery
program this year in 2025.
