Mr Anthony Westbrook

About
Mr Westbrook graduated from the University of Nottingham Medical School in 1994 and completed his orthopaedic training in Nottingham and Derby. In 2005, he undertook a Lower Limb Arthroplasty Fellowship at the Perth Orthopaedic Institute in Western Australia. He was appointed as a Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon in 2007.
Alongside his elective work, Mr Westbrook is a trauma surgeon at the East Midlands Major Trauma Centre, Queen’s Medical Centre, managing high-complexity injuries and fractures. He also chairs the Elective Orthopaedic Board, overseeing regional orthopaedic services.
He has a strong interest in medical education and currently serves as Director of Education for the East Midlands North Registrar Training Programme. Actively involved in audit, research, and training, Mr Westbrook maintains a high-volume practice and is committed to advancing surgical care through evidence-based practice and continued professional development.
