Mr Majed routinely performs procedures for common shoulder and elbow conditions. Shoulder conditions treated include arthritis, fractures (including the clavicle), frozen shoulder (adhesive capsulitis), impingement, rotator cuff tears, shoulder dislocations (instability). Elbow conditions he treats include arthritis, capsular stiffness, elbow instability, golfer's elbow, and tennis elbow.
Mr Majed trained at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in Stanmore. He has also completed an Advanced Training Fellowship in Shoulder and Elbow Surgery at University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire in 2013, and a Complex Shoulder and Elbow Reconstruction Fellowship at Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, Stanmore in 2014. These fellowships gave him expertise in both modern arthroscopy as well as complex joint replacement and revision surgery. He has also been awarded a number of travelling fellowships which allowed him to learn from internationally-recognised experts in the field.
Mr Majed has published his work in several peer-reviewed journals.
