Dr. Monica Mendes is a highly experienced clinical psychologist in Dubai with over 18 years of experience in clinical psychology, psychotherapy, and academic research. Aside from being a senior accredited clinical supervisor in the field of Clinical Psychology and Health Psychology, Dr. Mendes also coordinated the Mental Health Department of Lisbon University Medical Centre for over 12 years. She has also served as an Associate Professor of Developmental Psychology for more than 14 years at the High Institute of Sciences and Education (ISEC) and is a keynote speaker in several international conferences.
Dr. Mendes is also skilled in coordinating the Clinical Psychology Consultation of the Pedagogical and Counselling Centre of the Faculty of Psychology of Lisbon University and co-founded the Early Intervention Centre for Child Development and Family Support in Portugal. She has earned several awards, including the EAAD Award from the European Alliance Against Depression and Faculty of Medicine of Lisbon University.
