About Mr Mohamed Yehia Abdallah
Mr Mohamed Yehia Abdallah completed his undergraduate medical degree in Alexandria, Egypt and qualified as a doctor in 2006. He then completed his postgraduate specialist urology training in Egypt, followed by completion of renowned clinical fellowships in India and the UK (Addenbrooke's Hospital, Cambridge). He has been working as a Consultant Urologist in Wrexham Maelor Hospital since 2016. Since then, he has contributed significantly to the NHS service and managed to set up a new service for minimally invasive management of kidney stones. His contribution has been recognised regionally and was awarded the innovation award in patient impact category in 2020. Mr Mohamed Yehia offers a high quality, comprehensive urology service for diagnosis and treatment of general urological conditions both at Spire and Nuffield health groups. Aside from general urology, he has special interest in endourology (endoscopic management of urological conditions involving kidneys, ureter, bladder and prostate) and management of urinary tract stones. He also offers multiple options for treatment of benign prostate conditions including LASER prostate surgery. In addition to his clinical consultant position, he works closely with the Royal College of Surgeons and the General Medical Council to promote and improve the quality of surgical training across England and Wales.
"Evidence-based care tailored to each patient — taking the time to explain options and shared decisions."
