About Miss Caroline Payne
I have dedicated my training to achieve a high standard in aesthetic and reconstructive surgery. I attended QMC (London University) to obtain a First class BSc(Hons) degree in Genetics, then completed my medical degree St Thomas's and Guys hospitals, London in 1994 followed by a Masters degree at UCL, London. I am a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England in plastic surgery, FRCS(Plast), and I am listed on the GMC Specialist Register. Two fellowships fine-tuned my training: a year at Toronto General/Mount Sinai Hospitals, Canada, specialising in Microsurgery, Breast Reconstruction and Head and Neck Surgery. A second fellowship in cosmetic surgery at the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital in London. As well as being the Head of Plastic Surgery and Clinical Lead in breast reconstruction at St Bartholomew's and Royal London Hospitals, my specialist area is in procedures such as breast enlargement/reduction, breast symmetrisation, lipofilling, tummy-tuck, liposuction, body sculpting and corrective surgery after massive weight-loss. All of these I perform in my private and NHS practice. I have a particular interest in women's surgery and can dedicate an all women team to your surgical needs. I have peer-review publications, co-authored book chapters and been invited to lecture at national and international meetings on a variety of topics in aesthetic and plastic surgery. Furthermore, I have raised over £8,000 for charity by taking part in bike races and climbing to the top of Kilimanjaro at 5895 metres. This was a wonderful experience as seen by the photo taken once we reached the top.
