About

Michaella Sandor-Eroglu is a registered expressive arts psychotherapist (ADMP UK) with a Master of Arts in Dance Movement Psychotherapy from Goldsmiths, University of London. She is also a UKCP Registered Trainee Member. At Nightingale Hospital, Michaella runs weekly group therapy sessions as part of the general psychiatry programme and offers individual therapy to patients with a wide range of needs.

She has extensive experience working with adults, adolescents, and children in both individual and group settings. Michaella treats a wide range of conditions including alcohol and drug addiction, ADHD, anger problems, anxiety, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), bipolar disorder, body dysmorphic disorder (BDD), depression, interpersonal difficulties, OCD, panic attacks, personality disorders, postnatal depression, psychosis, schizophrenia, self-harm, sleep disorders, stress, suicidal thoughts, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and work-related stress.

Her therapeutic approach is holistic and client-led, integrating psychodynamic, humanistic, and somatic practices. Michaella also uses creative tools such as mindfulness, movement, play, and the arts, allowing for both verbal and non-verbal expression. She has additional training in body language analysis from Tel-Chai Academy and has worked with people with disabilities and dementia, as well as those with neurodiversity and dual diagnoses involving mental health and substance misuse.

Michaella provides a safe and supportive therapeutic space that encourages self-expression, emotional exploration, and personal growth, empowering clients to move at their own pace and manage life’s challenges with greater self-awareness.

“Evidence-based care tailored to each patient — taking the time to explain options and shared decisions.”

— Michaella Sandor-Eroglu
