Prof. Dr. Michael Rogy ist Facharzt für Chirurgie und Viszeralchirurgie. Seine medizinische Laufbahn begann mit dem Studium der Medizin, das ihn sowohl an die Universität Graz als auch an die Universität Wien führte. Nach seiner Promotion absolvierte er seine Turnusarztausbildung. Im Laufe seiner Karriere sammelte Prof. Dr. Rogy umfassende Erfahrung in renommierten Institutionen im In- und Ausland. Er war als Oberarzt am AKH Wien sowie als Primararzt am KH der Barmherzigen Brüder in St. Veit/Glan und am KH der Barmherzigen Brüder in Wien tätig. Darüber hinaus absolvierte er Auslandsaufenthalte, unter anderem am St. Bartholomew Hospital & St. Marks Hospital London, der Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN, USA, sowie an der Cornell University Medical School und der University of Florida Medical School in den USA.
Prof. Dr. Rogy legt großen Wert auf eine patientenorientierte Behandlung. Er nimmt sich die Zeit, seine Patientinnen und Patienten individuell zu beraten und auf ihre Bedürfnisse einzugehen. Seine Schwerpunkte liegen im Bereich der Allgemeinchirurgie und Viszeralchirurgie.
