Originally from Cheshire, he studied medicine at St Bartholomew’s and the Royal London School of Medicine, graduating in 2006. He received the British Orthopaedic Research Society Student Award in 2006. Mr Quaye has an exclusively adult NHS practice. His main areas of interest are the degenerative spine, with and without scoliosis deformity, sports injury of the spine as well as spinal tumours. As an Orthopaedic surgeon, Mr Quaye has a very good understanding of problems arising from other joints such as the hip, knee or shoulder and how these can be confused with, as well as interreact with spinal problems. Mr Quaye’s aims to leave all patients with a detailed understanding of their problem and a plan to get them on the road to recovery. He believes life should be enjoyed and recognises the impact spinal problems can have.
