She has completed extensive training throughout her career, such as a Laparoscopy course, Practical Obstetric Scanning Course, Third and Fourth Degree Perineal Repair Course, CARE course in Minimal Access Surgery, a 6-month course in Management and a Masters course in Laparoscopic Surgery.
Miss Aref-Adib also shares her expertise by teaching and training students in the field. Some of her teaching experience includes Basic Laparoscopy Skills in Gynaecology at London Deanery, Agora Laparoscopy, Agora Gynaecology courses and a CCMIG-AGORA laparoscopy course in Melbourne. She has been actively involved in research and is published in many medical journals, she has presented this work extensively nationally and internationally. She has been recognised for her achievements with several awards, such as the EBCOG Prize in 2014, the Adult Prize from Newham University Hospital and the Trainee Oral Presentation at the London Speciality School of Obstetrics and Gynaecology 6th Annual School Conference.
