About
He is highly experienced in bronchoscopy and specialises in modern diagnostic and therapeutic techniques, including endobronchial ultrasound (EBUS), thoracoscopy, and the insertion of indwelling pleural catheters.
Dr Chaudri graduated in medicine from the University of Leeds between 1986 and 1991. In addition to his clinical work, he plays an active role in national service development and quality assurance. He has previously served on the British Thoracic Society Specialist Advisory Group on Interventional Procedures, contributing expert guidance to organisations such as NICE. He is also involved in lung cancer peer review on behalf of NHS England and NHS Improvement.
Alongside his NHS practice, Dr Chaudri undertakes medico-legal work as an expert witness, preparing detailed reports and providing evidence in court in cases relating to respiratory medicine. He holds the Cardiff University Bond Solon Expert Witness Certificate, which he obtained in 2018.
