He was presented with a Service Excellence Award in 2005 by DOHMS for his contributions to the field. He gained further experience in Orthopaedic surgery at Emirates Hospital and has also served as the Head of Orthopaedic Department.
Dr. Marwan is an active member of several international professional associations such as the Arthroscopy Association and AO/ASIF Association for Internal Fixation in Switzerland, AerzteKammer Medical Association in Germany, and the Emirates Medical Association (EMA) in the UAE.
