Orthopaedic Surgery
About
Throughout his career, Dr. Haber has been a presenter at over 20 major international orthopaedic conferences, both in Australia and abroad. With a wealth of experience, he has successfully performed over 2000 shoulder arthroscopies. He is known for robotic surgery and pioneering modified techniques for arthroscopic rotator cuff and labral repairs, which have been adopted and used by orthopaedic surgeons in Europe, Asia, England, and the United States.
Dr. Haber's commitment to advancing the field of shoulder surgery is demonstrated through his ongoing research efforts. He conducts biomechanical studies and postoperative evaluations to explore ways to optimise surgical procedures and rehabilitation techniques for better patient outcomes.
Dr Haber believes in the importance of continuous learning and excellence in medical practice, echoing the words of Aristotle: "Excellence is an art won by training and habituation … We are what we repeatedly do."
In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Haber is dedicated to educating the next generation of surgeons. He shares his knowledge and expertise by teaching advanced arthroscopic shoulder techniques to fellow surgeons in Australia, Asia, and Europe. He also frequently hosts domestic and international visitors in his operating theatres.
“Evidence-based care tailored to each patient — taking the time to explain options and shared decisions.”
