Maria's passion lies in injury prevention and long-term wellbeing, where she strives to optimise quality of movement and promote sustained health outcomes. She identifies key areas for improvement and tailors her approach to meet the unique needs of each individual, emphasising proactive strategies to prevent future injuries.
Specialising in a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions, Maria's areas of expertise include back pain, neck pain, knee and ankle injuries, hip and shoulder pain, tendon rehabilitation, as well as Pilates-based and post-operative rehabilitation.
Beyond her professional pursuits, Maria maintains an active lifestyle and holds a keen interest in various sports, including running, dance, swimming, strength training, and windsurfing.
With a diverse background spanning roles at SMART Physiotherapy, private practices in Reading and Twyford, and the Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust, Maria brings a comprehensive skill set and a commitment to excellence in patient care.
In addition to her clinical experience, Maria has furthered her expertise through certifications in APPI Pilates Matwork Levels 1 – 3, acupuncture, and is currently pursuing a personal training qualification.
