Dr Maria Nikolopoulou is a Consultant Gynaecologist and Obstetrician with 25 years of experience in the treatment and management of a wide variety of gynaecological conditions. She specialises in vaginal bleeding, reconstructive vulval surgery and colposcopy for cervical cancer prevention. She sees private patients at the Cosmesurge Hospital Umm Suqeim, Dubai.
After gaining her primary medical qualifications, Dr Nikolopoulou undertook specialist Urogynecology – Urodynamics, Colposcopy, Infertility, Endocrinology and Menopause training under Kings Mill Hospital, U.K, where she also gained expertise on ultrasounds for the prenatal diagnosis of congenital abnormalities. She also went on to found the Centre for Obstetrics and Gynaecology at BRMS.
