Dr Margarida O'Neill is an experienced general dentist based at Micris Dental Clinic in Dubai. She has more than 16 years of experience in general dentistry and has a highly professional and compassionate approach to patient care. Her aim is to give her patients a healthy and natural smile.
She is a family dentist and sees both adults and children, setting them up for good dental health in the future. She has a gentle manner and ensures that children have a positive first experience of visiting the dentist that can carry over through the rest of their lives.
Dr O'Neill gained her dental degree from the University of Lisbon in 2005 before undertaking a year-long postgraduate course in periodontics and implants with the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. Additionally, she underwent further implant surgery training in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
She believes strongly in the use of evidence-based practises and is always looking to update her skills by attending courses in different areas of dentistry. For example, she has completed a postgraduate course in cosmetic and restorative dentistry with Tipton Academy.
Outside of the dental surgery, Dr O'Neill enjoys reading, yoga, playing tennis and sailing.
