Dr Manjeet Sandhu is a skilled Consultant Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist who possesses a PhD in Inflammatory Bowel Disease. Dr Sandhu is highly skilled in all areas of gastroenterology, with a special focus on inflammatory bowel disease, iron deficiency anaemia, gastro-oesophageal reflux disease, bowel cancer screening and liver disease. She is also an expert on irritable bowel syndrome. She is dedicated to her patients and provides high-quality care in both inpatient and outpatient settings with great passion.
Dr Sandhu graduated with honours from the University of Melbourne in 2009, and then completed postgraduate her specialisation training in Gastroenterology at St Vincent's Hospital and Monash Health. In 2016 she was awarded a Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of Physicians, and subsequently went on to complete a fellowship and PhD at Monash University and Hudson Institute of Medical Research. She is currently practising as senior medical specialist at both Monash Medical Centre and Casey Hospital, where she is actively involved in Inflammatory Bowel Disease clinical trials and research.
Dr Sandhu prioritises her patients and is dedicated to providing care of the highest calibre. She presently takes public appointments at Monash Medical Centre and Casey Hospital.
