Dr Manal Ibrahim Sabbar is a leading Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with over 20 years of experience in both the UAE and UK. She is based in Dubai and is the Head of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Gargash Hospital.
Dr Sabbar completed her medical degree at the University of Baghdad, Iraq in 1997 and became certified by the Arab Board of Obstetrics and Gynaecology in 2007. She later moved to the UK and was awarded her Membership with the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. She became an accredited Colposcopist certified by the British Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology (BSCCP) in 2015 and received her Certificate for Eligibility for Specialist Registration (CESR) in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from the General Medical Council (UK) in 2018.
At Gargash Hospital, Dr Sabbar manages cases of high risk pregnancies of all types, as well as complicated deliveries and caesarean births. She also has specialist expertise in uro-gynaecology, infertility management and minimally invasive myomectomy and hysterectomy procedures.
Alongside her clinical practice, Dr Sabbar holds professional memberships with the British Society of Reproductive Medicine (UK) and the American Society of Reproductive Medicine (USA).
