Dr. Luciano G. Nardo is a highly respected and internationally recognised Consultant in Reproductive Medicine, Infertility, and Gynaecology with over 20 years of experience. He is renowned for his clinical expertise, academic leadership, and strategic innovation across public and private healthcare systems in the UK, UAE, Italy, and Switzerland.
Dr. Nardo’s specialist practice encompasses reproductive medicine and surgery, fertility preservation, assisted conception, andrology, reproductive endocrinology and immunology, recurrent miscarriage, early pregnancy management, and clinical genetics. He holds particular academic interest in managing complex infertility cases such as diminished ovarian reserve, repeated embryo implantation failure, unexplained infertility, tubal disease, endometriosis, fibroids, congenital uterine abnormalities, and caesarean section scar defects.
Currently, Dr. Nardo practices as a Consultant in Reproductive Medicine and Infertility at Orchid Fertility and at Medcare Women & Children Hospital in Dubai. He previously served in key roles at Bourn Hall Fertility Clinic (Dubai), St Mary’s Hospital (UK’s first public fertility and IVF clinic), and Phoenix Hospital Group (London). He was the founding Medical Director of the Reproductive Health Group in the UK and established NOW-fertility SA in Switzerland. He has also held regulatory leadership roles as the Person Responsible to the HFEA and Registered Manager to the CQC in the UK.
Dr. Nardo has served as a Visiting Professor at Manchester Metropolitan University and the University of Catania. He has held leadership positions in professional societies including the British Fertility Society, the International Federation of Fertility Societies, and the Mediterranean Society for Reproductive Medicine. He is also a member of the Dubai Health Authority’s Exam Questions Review Panel for Reproductive Medicine and Infertility.
With more than 120 peer-reviewed publications, 700 international lectures, and 23 book chapters to his name, Dr. Nardo is widely cited and has contributed significantly to research, education, and clinical standards in reproductive medicine.
