She then spent 18 months working extensively in the Early Pregnancy and Gynaecology scanning unit at King's College Hospital, gaining invaluable experience in gynaecological ultrasonography and management of early pregnancy. She is registered as a specialist with the General Medical Council (GMC).
In addition to her wealth of knowledge and experience in clinical practice, Dr Farahani is passionate about research. With a strong belief in evidence-based medicine, she has been an active researcher in the field and has published papers in peer-reviewed journals. She is interested in research into recurrent pregnancy loss, the microbiome, and assisted conception. Dr Farahani is a member of the British Fertility Society and has presented her work at conferences.
